Why HomeCore Construction

One Team for the Whole House

A whole home renovation touches every trade at once. HomeCore Construction runs it with one team: demo, framing, rough-ins, insulation, drywall, floors, tile, trim and paint, plus custom cabinetry from our own shop.

Because we do the work ourselves, the schedule holds together and the finish is consistent from room to room. We document every stage, as you can see in the two stories below.

We renovate homes across Nassau and Suffolk counties and handle all permit filing and inspections. Suffolk County Home Improvement License HI-74242.

Questions

Whole Home Renovations FAQ

What does a whole home renovation include?

Usually everything inside the walls and more: demo, new framing, plumbing, electric and ductwork, insulation, drywall, floors, tile, trim and paint. Our two Whole Home stories show it room by room, and one of them includes a new roof.

Can we stay in the house?

For a true gut renovation most families move out for part or all of the job. For smaller scopes we can phase the work room by room. We plan this with you up front.

Can you renovate in phases?

Yes. We can plan a whole home in phases, starting with the work that has to come first, like structure, roofing or mechanicals.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

HomeCore Construction handles all permit filing and inspections. Every Long Island town and village has its own building department and rules, so we check what your project needs before we price it, file the paperwork, and meet the inspectors on site.

What areas do you serve?

HomeCore Construction renovates homes across Nassau and Suffolk counties, from Garden City and Rockville Centre to Bay Shore, Huntington and the East End.
