East End

Custom Homes on the East End

HomeCore Construction built a ground-up custom home in Bridgehampton. The full build is documented, from the footing pour and foundation to ZIP System sheathing, the Henry Blueskin VP100 air and water barrier, roofing and windows.

East End homes face salt air and strong storms, so what goes behind the siding matters. On the Bridgehampton house, a full air and water barrier went over the sheathing before any finish.

Permits

Working With the Town of Southampton

Bridgehampton is in the Town of Southampton. The Building and Zoning Division at Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road, takes building permit applications and also handles Zoning Board of Appeals, Architectural Review Board and contractor licensing applications.

For a new single family home, the Town's checklist includes a licensed survey, plans from a licensed professional, Suffolk County Department of Health Services approval, a HERS certificate, energy compliance documents and an Architectural Review Board form. HomeCore Construction handles the filings and inspections.
